Tender Terms and Conditions

(1) GENERAL :

 
  1. Rates quoted should be inclusive all taxes, including packing forwarding charges and octroi for door delivery at our Stores at the FTII. Rates quoted must be open for acceptance for a minimum period of 120 days from date of opening of the tender/quotation.
  2. Quotation must be submitted in sealed envelopes and superscribed with Tender Number & Due Date and should reach this office on or before the due date specified on pre page. Late tender will not be considered.
  3. Installation/commissioning charges if any may please be quoted separately.

(2) SPECIFIC FOR TENDERERS :

 
  1. Photo copy of Sale tax Registration certificate may please be enclosed.
  2. Details of after sale service Warranty /Guarantee/AMC charges etc. be provided.
  3. Demonstration of equipment at FTII or at vendor site if required would have to be organised at the cost of vendor.
  4. Training to FTII person (if required) at FTII Or at vendor site, free or with some charges; details to be provided.
  5. Technical literature/operation manual/booklet/brochure etc. to be provided with 0ffer.
  6. List of the essential spare parts along with the prices may please be enclosed wherever necessary.
  7. In case opening of L.C. give bankers name & principles name & other necessary information to enable to open the L.C. Also, provide break up of taxes and levies included in the cost.
  8. List of customers with addresses Phone/Fax No. to whom you have already supplied the material be provided.
  9. Quote for regular accessories required for normal setup be provided separately wherever necessary.
  10. Name of the manufacturer must be clearly specified while indicating the make of the product.
  11. Bank guarantee will be essential in case of any partial advance is demanded before delivery.
  12. In case payment by Demand Draft, charges will have to be borne by Vendor
  13. Delivery period and mode of delivery to be mentioned
  14. Sample must be provided wherever demanded.
  15. It shall be normally be presumed that material(s) are available ex-stock and shall be supplied immediately. In case of any delay in effecting supplies the delivery period shall be specifically mentioned in the quotation.
  16. Canvassing in any form is not allowed and will entail cancellation of the offer.

(3) FTII RESERVES THE RIGHT :

 
  1. To accept or reject in part or whole, any or all the tenders received without assigning any reasons, nor is it bound to accept the lowest tender.
  2. To reject any supplies should they not confirm to the required standard specification at its sole description and such decision of the Institute shall be final and binding on the tenderer.
  3. The supplier shall be liable to and responsible for any defect in the material and shall make good by free replacement any rejected part thereof or the whole quantity supplied as the case may be.
